Frequently Asked Questions

The Furry Godmother Doggy Daycare provides daytime activities for your furkid while you are busy. Dogs are mixed together for supervised playtime with others of similar in size, age and activity level.  Dogs learn how to be sociable, play nicely and take a few naps.

Why use Doggy Daycare?

Who can come?
Any dog 4 months or over that is fully vaccinated with a C5. Bitches that are on heat cannot attend the Daycare Centre until after their season has ended.

When can they come?
The Darwin Airport Daycare Centre is open between 7.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (closed Public Holidays)

Furkids can be booked in for a half-day of daycare, up to five hours of playtime during the above times!

How do I book?
Bookings are essential. In order to properly supervise the dogs, and to maintain staff:pet ratios, group sizes are limited.  Bookings can be made at our bookings page and reoccurring bookings can be made to secure your furkid’s place on specific days.

New to Doggy Daycare?

If this is your furkids first day of daycare at The Furry Godmother, please visit our bookings page.   We will then contact you to arrange a day and time for your dog’s first day, so we can assess their suitability.  Some dogs may not be suitable for daycare, or may be suited to one of our Daycare Centres but not the other - our trained staff will talk to you if we feel this is the case.

  • Such a wonderful place. Staff are genuine pet lovers who make my 2 Staffys feel loved and cared for. Facilities are A1. I am confident my fur babies are/have gotten the same level of care I would give them.
